This was another incredible volume. I personally love the northern setting and how the environment really affects the characters and plot in interesting ways. I also, well, didn't necessarily love seeing Ed get impaled, but it is interesting how he did have to face a consequence of his decision not to kill.
Additionally, I always love the reveal of Xerxes, and the additional information on Hohenheim and his character. I.e. him saying slave number 23 will be visiting Father/dwarf in the flask I feel really highlighted the interesting dynamic between both Hohenheim + 'Father'. Also seeing Envy at the end being such an idiot is always fun.
Anyways, this was another great installment, and I am excited to continue reexperiencing the series!
