The Perfect Rake by Anne Gracie
4.0
Oh dear, this was very funny. And sad and slightly angsty, but everything had an undercurrent of love and laughter and antics to make it endurable. Almost solely the courtesy of our hero! Gideon, you aren’t much of a rake, but you’re all the better for it!
It took a smidge too long to get to our grand finale (I was at 80% and was racing through the story while secondary characters were taking up valuable page space), and Prue really had to sleep in the bed that she made herself, and I really do *abhor* characters that constantly interrupt big confessions (I yelled “Jesus” more times than is theologically appropriate), but it’s alright everybody, we made it!
Also, this should be a movie. Or a Netflix mini series. It would work perfectly!
