I tried hard to push myself through this book and I finally just said that enough was enough. I appreciate that a lot of people were able to see themselves within these characters and that representation is important.

I didn’t hate this book, I just didn’t enjoy it. I found that the story drug on with very little going on, even halfway into the book. I had a really hard time connecting with Georgia’s character, which wasn’t helped by the fact that it seemed like the Pip & Rooney Show. Add in the overwhelming about of Shakespeare references and I just couldn’t force it any more.
