This may be the best book I’ve read this year… and I almost DNFd it early on. My first instinct after the first chapter was, ‘I can’t read this right now, it’s going to break my heart,’ but I really like Shaylin’s Threads, so I kept going. I can’t even begin to summarize this book and do it justice but to say that it follows a widow’s story before and after her husband passes. In her mourning, she meets his estranged identical twin brother and she’s surprised to find that she’s developing feelings for him. My heart is NOT broken, but I’m changed.
