Listen to the new Audible adaptation of 1984. This adaptation is incredible and is about to become my Roman Empire.

Each actor is beyond perfect as their character. Tom Hardy as Big Brother is a genius choice as his voice can be charismatic, powerful, gentle and intimidating all at once and he represents the cult of personality and celebrity perfectly as he is almost universally loved by everyone. Andrew Garfield as Winston feels so real and relatable, he did an amazing job. Andrew Scott is just so good at love to hate type characters, I haven’t enough superlatives to describe how much I loved his O’Brien. And Cynthia Erivo is one of my faves anyway.

Matt Bellamy doing the music is a dream for me as Muse is one of my favourite bands and I love the Muse Easter eggs dotted around in the background.

A must listen that I want to listen to again and again.
