One of the delightful things about doing a Discworld reread now (at almost-26) is that the last time I read Discworld I was a very angry atheist aged 16, and wow it’s been a long decade.

What’s hilariously familiar about Small Gods and Pterry is that as much as it’s a critique of religion, it’s specifically a critique of Christianity and the upshot is it promotes rabbinic Judaism by the end. To anyone who’s read HDM, this is a familiar plot.

Which means it’s a riot, I loved it, and I would love the chance in some reality to talk with Pterry about faith.
