I enjoyed it but will say that If you weren’t already fully invested in these characters before, this sequel probably won’t be for you. This was more introspective than freak sh*t, but I like that type of energy. Life after the fantasy. If I could rate it higher than a 5, I would. I thought the continuation of Matt’s POV, introduction of his wife (Candace), and meddling from Crave’s wannabe Suge Knight manager (Taz) would dim the vibe, but they each added something fresh to the solid storyline. The last book ended with a HFN, but this had a satisfying but realistic HEA.
