Intimations by Zadie Smith

3.0

I can appreciate this book for being a really lovely piece of work, capturing the feelings of that early period during covid. I can see how a lot of people would really love it. However, I just didn’t click with the book, whether that be because of not getting on as well with Smith’s writing as much as I’d hoped, or whether it just wasn’t the right time or place for me to read this to fully appreciate it.

I would consider returning back to this, potentially in a physical, paperback form instead of the audiobook, and see how I get on then instead, but I can only give it 3 stars for now.
