A sapphic horror novella where Rosemary meets Ash at a market and is immediately, intensely attracted to her. But Ash is clearly hiding something, and as the story continues she starts to raise more and more red flags until Rosemary is forced to confront what she's hiding.
The main character started to grate on me by the half way point, with me literally going, "GIRL, SHE'S GONNA TURN YOU INTO SOUP". How predictable the story is combines with an annoying main character made me glad that this story is so short.
The instant sexual attraction in this is so heavy, and their scenes together so intense, that even I was surprised that the actual sex scenes in this were closed door. I think open door would have worked better. This story overall reminded me very strongly of a TV show I know well, and my guess was confirmed in the acknowledgements.
