Another great book in this series! It kept me on the edge of my seat wondering how Annabeth and Percy were going to make it through Tartarus and if the others were going to make it to the House of Hades in time. I really liked that Rayna came back at the end too and agreed to help bridge the rift between the two camps and bring the Athena Parthenos home too.
I loved Niko’s storyline in this one too. It really added depth to his character and I sympathized with him. Being a gay woman who once fell in love with her best friend, it’s definitely brutal, so I can’t wait to see how Riordan handles his story going forward.
