I’ve been wanting to read this author for ages, so imagine my delight upon discovering my local library carries her!

I enjoy a good alien / SFR type series, as they tend to have some really fun world-building and interesting races. This was no exception in that regard, though the world-building could be a bit stronger.

And there were a lot of steamy and self-pleasuring scenes that, felt more like they were there just for the sake of being there, rather than because I actually felt/believed any chemistry between the leads.

Captivity.
Trafficking.
Orcs.
Other galaxies / planets.
Fated mates.
Royalty.
Breeding.
Fight scenes.
Instalove.

Overall:
Not bad by any means, just not the strongest writing I’ve ever read either.
Am open to reading more from this author, though don’t feel a need to go on further into this particular series.
