Pink, Blue, and You!: Questions for Kids about Gender Stereotypes by Elise Gravel

5.0

This is a book on gender identity and expression (and more on stereotypes) I can say is for children. While yes there is TOON version of anatomical correct anatomy it is one image. The concepts are easy to digest and make you think about things. Why follow everything blindly? Why not create the way you feel is best is the main message I am getting be it as boy, girl, both, neither, etc, and how whatever expression you see fit. The cartoons are cute and easy to relate to and a must to understand the basics of genre identity and stereotypes/expectations at a level that is understandable for 6 and up.
