As I lifelong fan of Prince, it has taken me a moment to read any of the books published about him. I do not have any particular interest in the "war of Prince's exes" that tend to play out online. Therefore my review is unbiased.

Mayte Garcia has written a beautiful tribute, in my opinion, to Prince. She expertly described his positive and negative attributes. She also confirmed what many of his fans know, he was a complex individual. I could not detect any malicious intent from her words. Just honesty and love.

If anyone has any doubt about reading this book, especially die hard Prince fans or even those who don't like Mayte, please do not hesitate to purchase her book. I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed it.
