I loved the mix of a Regency romance with fantastical elements. The romance in this is lovely and the dynamic between the two main characters is so interesting, Dora ignoring every attempt made by Elias to scare her off was so fun to read about. I appreciated the discussions about class privilege and the trauma of war, I think that set it apart from a lot of other Regency romances.
