Philosophical Investigations by Ludwig Wittgenstein

5.0

Wittgenstein was probably too smart for his own good. Dude couldn't compile his thoughts in a proper book to save his life, so we ended up with this instead, but "this" is also one of the biggest influences philosophy has received in the past century... which again demonstrates how smart he was.

I'm not in a position of confidence to "challenge" his anti-philosophical arguments, but they feel limited in my eyes. They have to be. I don't know, but to watch the beautiful sunset from my window invoque "big questions" be explained as bad grammar makes me wonder if that is not akin to leading the confused men from Plato's cave back to their birthplace because the outside world is too confusing to be explained rationally.

But Wittgenstein was maybe right about some of his assessments. They sound reasonable enough, I guess...
