Malala's Magic Pencil by Malala Yousafzai
5.0
Malala's Magic Pencil is the children's book autobiography of Nobel Prize winner Malala Yousafzai. Malala grew up in Pakistan and loved school. Malala's school was threatened and the girls in her school stopped coming. This is the story of how she took a stand and forever changed the way the world looks at education. This story is powerful and inspiring and one I think all children should hear. This is the story is perfect for younger children or older children. I would use this in my classroom to demonstrate mighty girl books or how children can change the world. This book also stresses the importance of free education for all.
