It was just as steamy as the first book, but this one had a beefier plot that didn’t revolve around sexual experimentation (not that there's anything wrong with that, like, at all). I liked that Chet and Mark’s story spanned most of their lives, and the few flashbacks/mentions of their shared childhood sprinkled here and there acted to give a bit more depth to their relationship than just shared lust. I wasn’t too sold on the start of the novel when they were antagonistic towards one another, but once they cleared the air and started fooling around, in practically every location except a bedroom I might add, I was hooked. I loved Chet’s smart mouthy bad boy vibe while also being smart, hardworking, and motivated for success. Mark was a bit more difficult to sympathize with; the poor little rich boy thing is not the most flattering type of character. I did like how he eventually grew a pair and stayed true to his feelings, regardless of the financial consequences. Together these two were ridiculously hot. It did take them a while to finally make it to a bedroom, but no matter what the setting, they had me drooling in delight every time. I am loving every minute of this series and cannot wait to see who will pair up next.
