Lots of promise. I really enjoyed the author’s writing. Very descriptive and lots of poetic imagery. Probably not for everyone but I liked it. Story ended up being a kind of generic dystopian novel. Maybe I’ll read the next if I’m in between books but I’m not running to download book 2.
