The writing style is like a good friend telling me some tea over a cup of coffee ☕️. The entire friend group is incredibly shallow, unlikeable, and M E S S Y.
This book is labelled as a mystery/thriller, but it was more comedic than anything else. I did not feel any lick of suspense the way I normally do with books of this genre.
I enjoyed this for the drama, but the actual plot and “big reveal” felt way under developed. It cut short as if the author gave up towards the end. It is a quick read though. Easy plus +1 for your reading goal!
