I had such a good time with all of these characters! This series definitely grew on me as I read it, and this was a good finale. A bit predictable, but still good. I was waiting the entire time for a shocking major character death and it never came. I did feel like this book started off all about Princess Winter but as it went on, became less and less about her until she was just kind of there. I felt like her only true purpose was to be a friend to Cinder & Co when they got to Luna and help them with their entry into the palace. This book was super action packed and it felt fleshed out. I personally thought it was a bit long in places and the ending was a bit underwhelming. The length became an issue for me when different plot threads kept getting reused for other characters. It just became repetitive. However, Marissa Meyer does a really nice job of combining her own stories/details with the original tales from which she pulls her characters and as a whole series I really loved this world, story and its characters.
