Oh to go back to an omegaverse book..
This one was a great fun quick read for me.

I never expected to get a miscommunication trope in an alpha/omega book but this has it.
Noah & Preston both are completely misunderstood by those around them but also once they meet by each other.
One is an alpha to the core and is unprepared to encounter his fated mate while on a mission.
One is an omega who is just looking for someone to love & care for him. He never expects for the alpha that finds him to be his alpha.

Preston is a character that I wasn't sure if I was going to like just based on his attitude but once I read further, I understood why he was the way that he was. Completely understood him. Feeling the way that he did is hard for anyone then add in his father and its a recipe for disaster.
Noah of course knows none of this and is oblivious to what is happening to Noah where his father is involved. He thought things would be easy. Turns out nothing is ever that easy.

Omegaverse is always a quick little detour that I love taking and this one was what I needed.
Could this have been longer? of course but that's why there is more books in this series ;)
There is spice, just a pinch cause you know there is the mating fog.

The story was fast paced, hurtful in spots and the rest was happy moments. A few laughs and smiles is how I ended this book.
