This book has mixed reviews and I demand to know why

This was the cutest slow burn rom com roommates strangers to friends to lovers I’ve ever read.

It’s catastrophically slow in burn so don’t read it thinking it’s all high and steamy. It’s all story , and I enjoyed every page.

Lucas after suffering an injury decides to head to America from Spain when suggested he needs a change of scenery. He ends up in New York the same night that Rosie takes up residence in her best friends apartment due to the ceiling in hers falling in.
A stroke of fate?
Lucas is Linas cousin, and has been offered up the unit Rosie is currently residing in.
