If you’re reading for spice, witty banter, and a few wholesome moments, you’re in the right place.

I know what I’m about son, so this book was probably a 4.5-5 star read for me until around the 85% mark. The whole usual “boy loses girl” part was eh. Kind of broke the spell for a bit because the reasoning behind it was just a whole lot of nothing.

But, I still had a lot of fun reading it. If you like a MMC with a filthy mouth, Aiden Reid is your guy.

Also, I normally avoid books that have a child in them, as I always find those characters annoying and in the way. The little girl, Sophie, in this book strangely didn’t irritate me at all. She was charming and endearing and very cute. Did it really make any sense why she didn’t get along with the previous nannies? Lol no. But, we’re not reading for plot here, so idgaf.

Another also, I will always love a sassy old person sidekick. This one’s name is Wanda and she is a feisty one. 10/10 for her.
