The Secret of You and Me by Melissa Lenhardt
4.0
3.5 STARS
The story of Nora and Sophie is more than just a romance - it explores friendship, family, loyalty, and acceptance with the backdrop of a small, conservative southern town.
I absolutely loved the first half of this book. Getting to know the characters and the background of their story was addicting. I was so excited to see where it would go and honestly thought this would be my first 5 star read in awhile. However, the second half fell a bit flat for me and I felt that there were some loose ends that didn't get tied up. I beginning to think my expectations in the realm of character development are just too high!
Thank you to Mills & Boon for providing me with an e-arc via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review!
