The character, who is unable to touch others, is the narrator of the story. I'd taken off half a star because I read it as an e-book, and some stuff is crossed out in the actual text, which was not shown on the website I'd read it from. Highly recommend getting a physical book for the full experience, but the e-book was still beautifully written.

A character's parent struggles with alcohol. Very minor, but still there. The book does have violence, but it's not incredibly descriptive to the point it might be disturbing. Don't read if you don't like gruesome, dark books.
