I think I enjoyed this one as much as book 3! The one-weekend-stand to nothing for a year but he's falling for her and she's trying not to be interested chemistry was top notch. Imani's grandmother Gigi and her old lady brigade are who I want to be when I grow up, and Gigi's pet parrot Lancelot was also so funny and bratty. I laughed out loud so many times, but also thought the grief and survivor's guilt and caregiver burn out were all handled well. Plus a few spicy bits and the ending was better paced again versus the first book in the series.
