I liked this one overall! Some minor technical/writing issues, but nothing that made me mad at it. Good story (storIES, really), didn't go insanely deep in any direction, and didn't really need to; it's a short read that could have been a lot longer, if the author had wanted a different kind of story. Go into this one with some TWs and you'll be fine.

An aside:
Shame on all the one-star reviewers who DNF'd or never actually read the book, simply because they banded together on the internet over not liking something the author said on their own social media. Keep that kind of nonsense for your book club conversations, folks; no need to come here to GR in droves to try to "cancel" an author. I'm seeing this more and more, and it's just absurd, whether I agree with the author or the reviewers, or neither. It is so, so easy to just move on and make no comment at all, but everyone feels like their complaint needs to be heard since there's a platform for that, I guess.
