As a standalone book, I think this was pretty good. As the conclusion to this trilogy, I was a bit disappointed. I think that's because we've gotten to see these two main characters for the last two books, and I didn't feel like their personalities fully aligned with the other two books. Maybe that's just my memory being bad, but I felt like Deepak was much more of a finance bro whose main personality trait was being rich in this book, which was a little boring. Veera felt a bit like an archetype herself. I enjoyed the sex scenes but was thrown off by the presence of BDSM that went undiscussed by the characters themselves. I found the scenes hard to enjoy because it was just implied that these characters knew each others' limits and I couldn't really relax reading them because of that. It was still a good read, it just didn't meet my expectations for this series.
