What an absolute joy of a book, this came at exactly the time I needed it. I knew from the second I started reading it that I would love it, and I couldn’t wait to keep reading every time I had to put it down. There are certain books you come across every now and then that just have such an immediate cozy feel, and this was absolutely one of them.

I love Japanese translated novellas anyway, but this really stood out for me as something special, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone feeling a little lost or unsatisfied with their day to day life. It gives a completely new perspective, encouraging you to enjoy the little things and look at everything a different way.

It was honestly a pleasure to read and I can see myself coming back to it for many years to come.
