Finally! A second book I adore.
This is a very different book from A Memory Called Empire and that’s fine. It’s also a MUCH gayer book, delivering on what the first one set up. I grumbled about about the xenobio but like, we’re also here for the politics and that was amazing so who cares.
The style is amazing and characters continue to be (largely) well rounded, although it is reaching the scope where I needed to check the list of characters and definitions in the back.
