I am always worried when a book is super hyped that it will be disappointing but let me tell you, this one was everything people have said and more! I really enjoyed the single POV (I tend to prefer double or multiple) and the way that device let certain things play out. It seemed especially suiting since a theme of the story is "secrets". Also tackled very well was the concept and experience of grief. The friendship between Paul and Noelle was lovely and the attraction between Noelle and Theo (that grew to be more) was palpable. Plus, a road trip story is always fun and this one occured while a love story from the past was shared, which was fun. Definitely looking forward to whatever comes next from the author!
