This is one of the worst books I have ever read.

I can't believe I finished it. I told myself I'd get to 50% then stop but it was like watching a car crash - I couldn't look away due to morbid fascination and horror.

The premise is intriguing, and the potential was there but my god was the writing some of the most atrocious writing I've ever experienced as a reader. Normally I'd feel a little bad trashing a book without anything nice to say about it but this author got a 7 figure deal from this series so I'm not really going to feel bad for being honest, she's getting paid regardless.

The gen z, tiktok speak was disturbing, the authors attempts at making sure we know these men are bad and psychotic were laughable and absurd, and I really could not take a single word of this seriously.

My friends formed a book club and this was the first book that was chosen so I will be never trusting them with our book choices again
