Oh my word, this book!!! I was so looking forward to Lindsay Lanza's next book and it DID. NOT. DISAPPOINT. The invisible, energy sucking chronic illness representation (FMC has lupus, not what I ended up having but was tested for it since it is similar symptoms wise) is incredible! The dual POV where we can see there was a miscommunication but the MCs don't realize was actually great as far as building tension (versus some versions of this trope). Theo is an absolute thoughtful sweetheart who adores Ellie and the winter village where he grew up was magical. My fave bit: a description of the kind of cosy love Ellie wanted, which read like a new "can't eat, can't sleep, reach for the stars, over the fence, world series kind of stuff".
