Greek Fire, Poison Arrows & Scorpion Bombs: Biological and Chemical Warfare in the Ancient World by Adrienne Mayor
5.0
This is a truly brilliant piece of non-fiction. Mayor not only describes and brings to life a range of bio-weapons used across the ancient world, but she also relates these to their successors - in other words, bio-weapons featuring in modern military usage. If you have an interest in this sort of thing, I’d recommend this book in a heartbeat.
