When I read this, I thought this was a childish book, but thinking back on it, this is a YA Romance. This is set for young girls and I think that the story captures that perfectly considering the targeted age group. It's cute and wholesome. I don't remember reading anything inappropriate, but to be fair, it's been a while since I read this book. I definitely recommend it for preteens that want to read romance.
