The writing and storytelling was better than Pestilence, but I also found it more problematic than the first, sooo? I guess it was the same?

I always thought Rhys was the definition of morally gray.. no no. War is morally gray!!

I’m not a big dark romance girly, and I thought this was on the verge on noncon, but not there yet. I think if you like dark romance and morally shady men, then you might like this more! I think the writing is cheesy, but I think some really like the cheekiness. I think I’m in the minority of not liking this series. Also… they sure are entertaining and an easy read. It’s helping bring me out of my slump!
