I loved so much about this book! I love the diversity of characters, F/F romance, Jewish representation, mental health and trauma, ect. It gives you all the best rom-com feelings while still discussing serious topics.

However, there were a few things I really didn’t enjoy. First off, the book is separated into three sections and I feel like the Mirian and Noelle in the first section didn’t match the NoNo and Miri in the other two sections. I understand they disliked each other in the beginning, but they do a 180 from the last page in section one to the first page in section two. On that note though, I appreciate that Miri and NoNo didn’t flirt or pursue anything until she was officially broke up with Tara. It was just hard to see their chemistry or why Miri would want to pursue a relationship with NoNo from that first section. Also, NoNo was kind of rude a lot of the book? Like she very harshly judged everyone and had to eat her own words so many times. She’s very protective of the ones she loves, but also she didn’t have to be so rude about it at times. Lastly, I didn’t like the flow of the book, I don’t quite know how to explain it, but sometimes I felt that a scene was too short or was cut off with the start of a new scene. I don’t know exactly what it was, but at some points I had to reread to make sure I understood who was present and how the conversation was moving between characters. I also didn’t like how many page breakers there were in each chapter.
