I went into this book blind eye. Didn't know what it was about. And i am happy i did, part one of this book got me so off hand, what they went through together will bond any person. But felt so bad for them how ugly and sick can some people be out there. I don't blame Dean for his part of Cora she told him it was ok they wanted to survive even though she hated him she didn't hate him that she wanted him gone. The aftermath i think is just as hard as surviving the kidnapping and other stuff. How do you go back to your life after all that. And for people to assume that it is easy. Coras sister i get it i truly do but she didn't understand what they both went through and even if that thing didn't happen they would still have had a bond. I hate how Mandy made her feel she was hurt but at the end of the day that is her sister how could she not see even before Mandy found out what happened that Cora was not herself. Happy she survived for a second time. And Loved that Dean left so she could find herself again. Especially for herself but for their relationship. Thr ending was beautiful well written.
