The Knife of Never Letting Go by Patrick Ness

5.0

I don't think I'll ever get over Manchee, the poor dog, he did nOTHING WRONG HE'S SUCH A GOOD DOG

Okay, I'll write an actual review now.
This book is brilliant. The grammar and spelling used by Todd and company bothers me, but that was before it was said that he never learnt to read and is undereducated, so it makes sense that a young boy who hasn't been to a real school talks and spells like that.
The plot line is full of mystery and suspense, and it's exciting to read. It makes you wonder what it would be like to never get rid of your thoughts, or anyone else's thoughts, and be surrounded 24/7. It ends on a good cliffhanger, "Welcome to New Prentisstown", the very town that Todd was trying to escape from. I can't wait to read the next book in the series.
