Very Bad Company by Emma Rosenblum

Did not finish book. Stopped at 10%.
I was excited about Emma Rosenblum's sophomore book but could not get into it like I did her first book, BAD SUMMER PEOPLE. Both novels are narrated by January LaVoy, who I love as a narrator, but VERY BAD COMPANY fell flat in the storyline. I couldn't connect, and it felt like a repeat of what we hear in all "bad company" storylines about men and women in high places. The only reason I even lasted listening as long as I did was LaVoy's narration. I'll be willing to read what Rosenblum writes next since I enjoyed the first book.
