This book was like watching a romcom from the early 2000’s… it’s super cute but also a little cringey and didn’t quite age too well, but you still love it. Not that it’s bad or problematic, but it’s just a little surface level. That being said, this was really fun to read! Luke is a cinnamon roll who is actually quite bossy, but you know he has good intentions to protect Cassie. Whereas Cass is super uptight and it’s very frustrating the way she acts most of the book. But their love story is super cute and cheesy in the best way and you can’t help but root for them to make it.

Also I have never been so sick of the words “my girl” than I have in this book. I swear there’s one chapter where it’s in every paragraph and it was driving me insane.
