Swept Away Volume One by J. Haymore
5.0
Swept Away volume one is the first installment of a serial series by J Haymore. While I've read serval serial series recently, this has been by far my favorite debut book yet. The writing in this book is well crafted, the conversation flows nicely, and the characters have a great depth to them. This book contains some suspense, lots of sexual attraction, and a bit if sabotage, and a whole lot of romance. Based off this first book, it looks like this will be a great series and I can't wait to continue on with the rest of the books.
Tara has faced two major life altering tragedies within the last two tears and is barely getting her life on track. When she sets sail from LA to Hawaii with four other crew members, she is thrown off guard by Ethan. Ethan is inflicting feeling in her that she's never experienced before. But Ethan has his own skeletons, ones that we are only beginning to explore. We are also introduced to Justine through diary entries from many years ago. While we aren't made aware of Justine's total involvement yet, we're slowly beginning to get some clue. Mean while, there's possible sabotage underway on the sailboat and drama between the characters has begun to skyrocket.
Be prepared, this book ends with a great cliffhanger.
