I loved the style of this book. The description of the bureaucratic elevator metropolis and its cast of seedy characters hooked me from the start. There are moments when I got a little lost in the plot and the mystery but I loved the ending. I thought it was an original, inciteful, and nuanced take on race and I'm still chewing on it.
