DO NOT READ THIS REVIEW IF YOU HAVE NOT READ MISTBORN BOOKS 1-3 THE FINAL EMPIRE. IT HAS MAJOR SPOILERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is essentially a novella of Kelsier's POV in the cognitive realm through book 2-3 of Mistborn the Final Empire.
First and foremost it really lets you see Kelsier's personality outside of the "crew leader" role. He is incredibly, insufferable and a "troll" in every way. In my opinion this made me smile and laugh. In the face of the end of the world, Kelsier was still laughing.
Second, being able to see places that Kelsier's will/emotions effected the main Mistborn story was so heartwarming. The emotions he held for Spook and Vin had me sobbing. The son and daughter he never had.
Disclosure; I DO see how people would say this should be read later in the cosmere universe. As someone who only read Mistborn the Final Empire, there are some minor spoilers. I guess some little details COULD be major spoilers, but I won't know until later. Ready at your own risk
