A strong continuation to the series that takes all the elements I loved from the first book and keeps it going while adding a nice, big scoop of politics to the mix. All of the main character arcs just made me love them even more. I especially felt more drawn towards Naranpa after seeing her overcome the challenges she faced. I still love Xiala and Serpaio with my whole heart (and oh how it hurts for them). The story feels so big now, and I plan on picking up the finale soon to see how it all comes together.
