The second half made it very worth it. That second section, My life by Andrew Bevel, almost made me drop it… hard to sit through, although it makes sense why later.
I loved Mildred’s POV. I think a large part was the narrator in the audiobook really gave it character.
Maybe it would’ve been better if we had gotten ida’s story before andrew bevel’s? It just felt repetitive after the first section to go straight into that second section. If it wasn’t for that bit, I would have loved the book.
