Aaaahhh!! Hindu mythology!! Such a refreshing thing to read for I know so little about it. Rick Riordan didn't write this one but I like how it had the same flow as his books and yet it is different from his works.

Aru wasn't someone I instantly liked when I first encountered her but I like how she is imperfect with so much room to grow. Even Mini, her sister, also showed character growth and development and I am a big sucker for those. Well, they're children, so really, we must give them some slack. Lol. 5 stars for the first book and I hope the series only gets better in time.
