Honestly...I was not a fan for like 50% of this. It was slow and boring and the tiny pieces of action or twists that we got weren't enough to hold me over until the big thing happened. Also, I really don't care for the romance in this series and while I understand the importance it plays in the story, I just didn't like it. The ending though was a nice turnaround and I couldn't stop reading until I finished and the last 5 or so pages was wild. That being said, this book was the epitome of second book syndrome... Simply just okay. Excited for the next one though!!
