This book is going to live rent free in my head. The opening line? Chills. The ghost kids? Eerie. The changing flora of the island? creepy. The details to everything, the island, the ghosts, the characters, are so well fleshed out. Learning *what* the island is threw me though a loop and the ending was heartbreaking, heart pounding, and absolutely amazing.
