Little bit good, little bit meh.

Good - the small-town setting, touchs of home-renovation porn (open-plan living in a barn - aah), pleasant 2½-D characters, a very welcome equality between H & h. I'd like to see Morgan's obnoxious boss get his own story.

Meh - too much dog worship, too little plot. Like, I'm certain the dog-worship page-time exceeded the plot page-time. There are going to be three of them in that HEA marriage, that's all I'm saying.

Probably won't read this again, but it passed the time well enough.
